Some Everton fans have been reacting to some news that has emerged on a new partnership, and it’s fair to say they are excited by the possible fitness boost for Toffees players.
The Goodison Park faithful announced a partnership with The Turmeric Co. with a launch video on their official Twitter page, in which Wales international and founder Hal Robson-Kanu spoke to Head of Nutrition Lloyd Parker and defender Mason Holgate about its benefits, including Holgate’s experience relieving stiffness and soreness in his body.
Everton Women player Izzy Christiansen also revealed how their products help her recover from games quicker.
As per the Merseyside club’s website, the nutrition-packed turmeric shots ‘enhance performance and aid recovery’, and are ‘scientifically proven to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-depressant properties, in addition to assisting with weight management and improving skin condition’.
Any boost to the players on the pitch will be welcomed by supporters, and some Toffees in particular are excited about the partnership and how it can help the team, given a poor run of form that has seen them lose their last three matches in the Premier League.
Their poor run of form has of course not been helped by injuries to the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Abdoulaye Doucouré, so any boost in the health and fitness department is welcomed.
Everton fans on partnership
These Blues gushed as the partnership was announced on Twitter, with one EFC fan even going as far as to claim that they are ‘buzzing’, although perhaps with a hint of sarcasm too…
